Who owns it
Everything on infabulae.com — the texts of Hotel Bizarre, the illustrations, the hotel plans, the archive photographs, the switchboard recordings, the music, the Infabulae mark and the way this site is built — is the work of Rita Lapiano and belongs to her.
Copyright exists from the moment a thing is written or drawn: no registration, no notice required. This page does not create it — it only states it, so that nobody can claim they did not know.
What you may do
- read it, play it, listen to it, as many times as you like
- link to any page, without asking anyone
- quote a short passage in a review, an article or a video, saying where it comes from
- make videos or streams while you play it: that is welcome, and needs no permission
What you may not do
- copy the book, or long parts of it, and republish them elsewhere
- sell it, print it or distribute it — on paper or digitally
- translate it, adapt it, or turn it into a game, a film or an audiobook without a written agreement
- use the images, the sounds or the mark for anything else
- feed it to artificial intelligence systems as training data: not the texts, not the images, not the voices

One honest thing
Some of the images and sounds on this site were made with artificial intelligence tools, directed and chosen by me, then worked over by hand. The texts were not: those are written.
